NYC ENVIRONMENTAL PORTRAITS

An environmental headshot is a portrait of a person taken in a setting that reflects their profession, personality, or interests. Unlike a traditional studio headshot, which typically focuses on the subject's face with a neutral background, an environmental headshot incorporates the subject’s surroundings to give context to who they are and what they do. For example, a chef might be photographed in a kitchen, or an architect might be shot in front of a building project. The goal is to tell more of a story about the person by including elements of their environment.
