Whether you just confirmed a photography session with us, or you are in the process of booking your appointment, you might be wondering how the process will be for your headshot or portrait, and how much time will be required from you. We want to make sure our clients are relaxed, reassured, and confident before the day of the shoot which is why we decided to make this brief post, delving into the details of our behind the scenes during a headshot or lifestyle portrait session. One thing is for sure: we promise to make it easy and fun for you!

Depending on the details of your session, we will either arrive at your location at the time of the appointment, or you will be coming into our studio in New York City, on 5^th Avenue. As soon as you arrive, our photographers will start by confirming questions related to your professional or business style, keeping in mind that your photograph should reflect your personality and tell your story! Next, we will officially begin with the session.

Throughout the photoshoot, we will work with you to make you feel as comfortable as possible, suggesting different angles and facial expressions to make you look professional and confident while also relaxed and approachable. We will also we will be showing you the photos so you can mark down your favorites get an idea of which angles suit you best, or if there is anything you would like to change about your pose or expression. The duration of the photoshoot will vary depending on the specific needs of each client, but we are aware of people’s busy schedules, so a single headshot session usually takes around 15-20 minutes, and a personalized lifestyle portrait session could take up to an hour.

After that, the session is done! You will get the retouched version in about a week, and in the meantime, you can always call or email us with any questions. We are confident that you will love the results!
